Help setting up RDP but over web (like a webpage) in Windows 11 Pro

Currently I can connect to my computer using RDP over the port 3389. However I would like to access my computer over a regular desktop web browser (using HTTPS of course), without involving any RDP protocol at all.

I've seen some tutorials online, but they are really complex and convoluted, mainly oriented to Windows Server. My version is Windows 11 Pro, any help?

Are you talking about connecting over internet. If so, you really need to use a vpn to be secure.

No, over ethernet in local LAN. But over https not rdp.

I just prefer the web version, that's all.

This is really unclear. Any remote pc connection requires some form of security protocol whether RDP, Chrome Desktop or any other tool.

Just saying "Web version" does not explain anything. Web version of what?

Your request is like saying "my car is broken - how do I fix it".

If you cannot explain what you want, how do you expect anybody to help!

HTTPS isn’t a remote desktop protocol, so you’re going to have to wrap it around something such as RDP, VNC, etc. So you will still have whatever protocol underneath HTTPS.

If you’d like to pursue that, you need software that can do it, such as the Remote Desktop Gateway in Windows, or Apache Guacamole, something like that.
