How can I merge pdfs?

Hello,

Is there anything out there that will merge pdfs?

a.) I don't want to pay an Adobe subscription and also have to download their bloatware.

b.) And because there's confidential information on existing pdfs, I don't want to upload them to any free website, either.

Are there any other solutions out there?

You can edit a pdf by adding pages to it which is kinda like merge. How are you viewing the pdfs currently?

I normally stay far far away from the Microsoft store but it does have a few rare gems. I blocked it in the firewall and it still works fine.

PDFreDirect resides on your PC, no uploading to a website. I've used it for years.

I have been using "Merge PDF Free" from the store. For splitting print selected page "Microsoft Print to PDF"

you can install it without the store if you want
go to .https://store.rg-adguard.net/
and keep URL as the selection and paste "PDF Merger & Splitter - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store"
download the .appxbundle file and install it

i dont know anything about this one, but the official site looks like the .org in search results. i'll let @cereberus link it to make sure its the correct one

I tried 2 programs from the store

1)Merge PDF free
2) Free PDF Split and Merge

I only use #1.

For splitting PDF document, I choose "Microsoft print to PDF". The option is there when you press "Print" I would select the pages that I want to include in the PDF document.

Where is this app stored after you download it? What Programs folder?

its a file... its saved where ever you download it to. after installing it, you can delete the .appxbundle that you downloaded

found this recently check out https://mergepdftool.com. It’s browser-based and doesn't upload your files.
