How can I prevent changing the main display?

I hope I can explain the problem statement clearly.

Occasionally, I will inadvertently click something (I have no idea what I clicked on, exactly) that changes my Windows main display such that both of my browsers are displayed side-by-side, with the two of them taking up the entire screen.

Is there a way I can prevent this change in display mode?

Little tip:

Most of the tutorials offer a registry patch... to enable or disable whatever...
You have to download the patch then double click it to merge it with the registry.

The really great thing about registry patches, is that you can then save the patches you used... in a folder somewhere called...
Windows 11 tweaks, or similar.

Then, if you ever need to reinstall Windows... you'll already have all of your favorite registry patches... handy. :-)

That's a great idea! Thanks.

I have done manual tweaks to the registry from time to time, but I have yet to do a merge, although I can see the value.

For the manual tweaks you can either make a registry patch for that tweak, or just make a text file of the tweak, for future reference.
