How do I remove my email address from the start menu?

I want to completely remove my email address from the start menu. I have an administrator account. How do i do this?

It doesn't show if you change your sign-in to Local Account but, I assume you want stay signed in to your Microsoft Account so do a search for 'How to hide my email address from Start menu'.

I did this and it came up with: -
To hide your email address from the Windows 11 start menu, you can adjust the account details visibility settings in the system. Navigate to Settings by pressing Win+I, then go to Accounts > Sign-in options. Scroll down to the "Show account details such as my email address on the sign-in screen" option and turn it off. This change will prevent your email address from being displayed on the sign-in screen, which is the primary location where account details appear in the start menu context.

No I dont want to stay signed in to microfart. Since I have an admin account does that mean my email address will have to always stay visible?

I used your recommendation and the "Show account details such as my email address on the sign-in screen" option has been turned off a long while ago. Sop thats not it. Besides, that option is made for the sign-in screen not the start menu.

What do you suggest?

Just so you know, I deleted a user account. But the folder associated with that user account still remains. The files in the folder are synced to my onedrive. How do I delete the folder without deleting the files in my onedrive? Do I have to unlink the onedrive then delete the folder then once I delete the folder, do I re-link it? Will that keep my fines intact in my onedrive?

After switching to a Local account you should change from using a password to using a PIN to sign in.
