Today I upgraded from win10 to win11 and the start menu is atrocious. I want the start menu to look like the one from win10.

1. How do I get all my apps that I use to show on it?

2. How do i get the start menu to looks like the one from win10?

3. How do i get the start menu to start no the left corner?

There are rather many threads that have to do with changing Windows 11 start menu into Windows 10 (or older) start menu.

BTW. To get the startmenu (and the button belonging to it) on the left corner, do this:
  1. Right-click a blank area on the taskbar, then click Taskbar settings.
  2. In the Personalization tab of your Settings window, click Taskbar behaviors.
  3. Click the dropdown next to Taskbar alignment, and select Left.

Open Shell only has the ''Classic menu' (like in XP), Classic with two columns (which I am using) and Window 7 menu style.
No Windows 10 menu style in Open Shell.

In Windhawk there indeed is a mod Windows 11 Start Menu Styler, which has several options for menu styles, including Windows 10 start menu.
Because I am happy with the Open Shell Classic menu style, I am not using that mod in Windhawk.
But my taskbar and the File Explorer has been heavily modified by Windhawk to fulfill my desires.

When I started using Windows 11, I missed the tiles in Windows 10, so back in early 2023 I started writing a program to give me back the appearance of the Windows 10 tiles. I decided to posted it if anyone wants to try it. It's free.

It doesn't support drag and drop and doesn't support Live Tiles. But otherwise, it's works well. I have been using it ever day for the last two years.

Windows Defender will complain because it's not digitally signed (because that costs several hundred dollars a year), so you will have to tell it that it's safe.
