Hello, I am here after many hours of looking through these tutorials to absolutely no success.

All I am looking for is how to change ALL of the Desktop Folder icons on my DESKTOP.
This means the empty folders, the full folders, and the newly created folders so I don't have to manually set up one folder every time I make a new one.
I have my own Custom icons I have made myself that I would like to use.

I would assume they are "default" icons, but obviously I am not sure.
I have absolutely no care in the world for the icons in the EXPLORER currently. Again this has nothing to do with explorer icons.
I am repeating this because almost every tutorial I have came across up until this point has been about explorer icons despite the titles being so similar to Desktop Icons.

Thank you In advanced.

It's easy. Right click, properties, customize, change icon, browse, (browse to folder where your customized icon is stored and select your icon) apply, ok)
There are some limitations. This article explains it pretty well. How to Change Folder Icons in Windows 11

The point of this post was to find the solution to all the folders not a single folder.

That link provided goes to a tutorial in which explains exactly what you just explained to me... Which I already knew how to do, and didn't address the question in hand. The second half of that explains how to change EXPLORER icons. Which has already been stated I have no care for at the current moment.

I'm not trying to be bold or rude here but I think you might be missing the point.
This question is for ALL Desktop Folder Icons ONLY. For some reason I am pretty sure simple menu options aren't going to be a solution to this.

I've never heard of such so sorry I can't help you. I do know one thing for sure. When you make a new folder on the desktop or anywhere else, the icon you see is the default explorer folder icon. This icon is by default a pale yellow folder symbol. The default explorer folder icon can be changed, but it changes it EVERYWHERE within explorer and I know of no way that you can pick and choose the places you see it. If that is of interest to you see @FreeBooter solution in this thread. Need help changing folder icons in explorer and regedit

This is one solution to the question. A free trial of the program will allow me to edit the folders also. Thank you very much. I appreciate everyone's attempts to solve this. <3

I apologize I was going to add a step by step guide here to how to change the folders, my windows doesn't want to save screenshots I may try again tomorrow.
