I just found out about Recall Snapshots via an article online and wanted to make sure it was disabled on my Win 11 Pro (25H2) machine. But when I looked under Privacy and Security, I don't see it listed, even though a couple different articles showing how to disable it showed it as listed. Where can I find it and disable it? Thanks.

MS is well known for denying features because HW requirements aren't met. Recall is one of those features.

Recall will be one of those features that can always be blocked if you're not on Home Edition. That's because companies that use Pro or Enterprise will be concerned about private customer info getting captured outside of approved business apps.

Recall isn't even listed in my Privacy and Security window. Then I remembered I have the Pro edition.

That’s what you get for using Windows 11. With each new update comes new challenging issues.

Me, I am sticking to my debloated Windows 10. No Edge, Bing, Copilot and OneDrive.

Because software I rely on, only runs on Windows. That's pretty much why.

If I could find another OS that it worked on, I'd run, not walk...

I like Windows 8.1 Pro on my 17 inch Asus ROG even better. It is my favorite.

Users complained about not being able to locate a program they are looking for on the start menu.
What we had instead was a few interesting tiles and mostly colored boxes with app icons in them.

It wasn’t great, which is unfortunate since under the hood, Windows 8.1 is one of the best operating systems Microsoft ever released.

You can just replace the monstrous start menu with Start Menu X Pro and you will get one hell of an OS.

Bare windows 8 is actually very optimized. The interface and UX is really the only thing that brought it down.

You can also install Stardock Start 8. Both this one and Start Menu X Pro make your Start Menu looking really really great.

Of the 4 Windows that I am currently using (7 Ent, 8.1 Pro, 10 Pro and 11 Pro), I like 8.1 the most.

Sleek and fast and no Microsoft bloatware.

I've run most every operating system Microsoft has offered since 1981 and for me Windows 11 is the best one yet. I've run Windows 11 for over 4 years, and it's been excellent.

I'm a Microsoft 365 subscriber and I use Microsoft Office, Defender, Edge, Bing, OneDrive, BitLocker, and Copilot. I run Windows 11 as it was designed.

I feel no need to hack Windows and try to make it look or act like any previous version. I don't do any of the "debloating" that seems to be so popular. I like to think that's a prime reason I don't have the problems I see so many have.
