I have 128GB Kingston data traveller which shows raw disk error while formating. In disk management , I can not create new simple volume as it shows Drive not ready error. Also chkdsk command not available on this raw disk. Any other third party tool not useful.
Any solution please?

My Computer

I've never had to do that.

Can you use the "clean" command under diskpart to wipe the drive, and then create and format a new partition?

aomei This link is to a commercial site, but it lists the diskpart procedure.

I do hope you can get this fixed but usually means the drive is dead. There are quite a few posts around the net about similar flash drive issues.
Regardless of what other advice is given it's important to use the 'safely remove hardware' any time you wish to remove regardless of the policy settings IMHO. Have flash drives bought years ago and still working today.
Still - I hope you can get it to work again through some great advice from here.

Do be aware that Windows partitioning and formatting has a limit of 32GB as FAT32, would have to be done as NTFS or maybe exFAT. All of the USB Thumb drives I've had in hand came factory-formatted as FAT32 for use in more than Windows, I use a program in Linux called GPARTED or a Bootable GPARTED LiveCD to get around the FAT32 limit.

I'm far from expert at this, but if you can't run the diskpart "clean" command on the drive, I suppose that it's dead. As another poster has remarked. Sorry about that.

Corrections would be welcome, as always.

Yep - if clean does not work, drive is normally brown bread.

"Brown bread"? It's a New England tradition in the US. I baked some a few times, many years ago. I've never seen it used as a euphemism for dead, defunct, bought the farm, an ex-parrot, etc. Is that from some language other than US English? It doesn't register with my (limited) knowledge of the Queen's English, either.

Its Cockney Rhyming Slang - brown bread means dead

Essence of Cockney Rhyming Slang is you have two words in a phrase where second rhymes with word. In fact, you often drop the second word e.g.

in a pub, you may order a Gold (Gold Watch - Scotch)

The phrase "Let's have a butcher's" means a look (Butcher's Hook - Look)

A girl may have a nice Boat (Boat Race - Face).

Sometimes the phrase has 3 words like Horse and Trap but you ignore the "and".

I leave it up to you to work out what I mean when I say I am going for a Brace.

Clue: Brace and .......

Cockney Rhyming Slang was invented by Londoners working in the docks as a way of having private conversations as they used to get annoyed with the imported Irish Labourers slipping into Gaelic when they did not want Londoners to understand.

It is surprising how many Cockney Rhyming Slang terms are used in UK.

As I am in a pub, I am off for a Jimmy (Riddle), going up the Apple (and Pears), then I am going to have a final drink for the Frog (and Toad). I will probably have a Thelma (Ritter). Then I will call a taxi on the Dog (and Bone)

Apart from connecting drive to legacy devices (e.g. old TVs that only read fat32), it makes litle sense to format a large drive as fat32 as you cannot store files over 4GB (video files, install.wim etc).

I format my 64 GB drives with a small 2 GB gat32 partition and rest as exFat. That way I can create a boot drive with install.wim > 4GB.

How to detect the flash drive as fake or original while purchasing?
No easy up front as most come in sealed packages.

Buy from reputable sources, if price looks too cheap, high chance of being fake.

There are several tools that will check if fake.
