How to get resident evil 1 for windows 95 to play on pc?

hi, i boughten resident evil 1-3 games on disc from ebay.

im trying to figured it out how to load resident evil 1.

how do you do it?

Resident Evil 1 is currently on sale in Steam for £3.99 and supports Windows 8.1 & 10 (so should work fine on Win11) it has mostly positive reviews. The Steam version is remastered and is probably going to be a lot easier and less frustrating than trying to run from the original discs.
I personaly would keep the discs for nostalgia and buy the Steam version for ease of use.
Otherwise, yes a VM might be the best way to go.
