Hi. I would like to hide or disable the Share button in File Explorer's Navigation bar. Can it be done? Does anyone knows? I searched for a solution but can't find it. Thank you.

I think you are right. According to what I have read, it can not be done.

I appreciate you posting the link. I don't mind the new File Explorer, I like the color, they are my kind of colors, I like the way it looks better than in W10, but I find that I kind of have to be careful not to to click on the Share button when I want to click Delete.

That thread is a long thread but I am going to read it. One thing I know, File explorer in W10 was comfortable, if it has a Share button, I don't even know where it is and certainly never bothered me. I am sure is out of the way.

You only need to worry about the first post which is the tutorial for getting the old toolbar back in File Explorer.

Bo, I tried 2 registry edits and searched Group Policy for a suggested setting (that wasn't there) nothing worked to actually remove it.

For some reason, mine is greyed out. Must be something I have tweaked in the past but it was greyed out before I tried any of the aforementioned.

That did it. I was planing on doing this but did not think it was going to affect the Share button in File Explorer's navigation bar. But it sure did which makes me very happy. It is greyed out. Thanks a lot.
