how to make full screen games black borders disappear

hello all. I am playing theme park world but for some reason i wan't the game to be in full screen mode without the black bars not showing how do i fix this and make the bars dissapearer

It seems to me that this quite old game (1999) was made in the time that screens were at ratio 4:3.
So unless you could find a more modern version of the game it will be impossible to make the black bars disappear.
And if you would find some trick to stretch it over the full screen, it will be far out of ratio, all figures will be very 'thick'.
Like when you stretch an old 4:3 TV program over the full 16:9 modern TV screen.

Edit: found on Wikipedia that the 1999 version is the last one published for Windows.

There are two ways to solve your problem.

The first way is to check your monitor settings. Some monitors have the option to set the format to 4:3 or 16:9 depending on what you want to view. It is usually set to automatic so that whatever you are viewing fills the entire screen. However, this option depends o the type of video connector you are using (HDMI, DP, VGA).

The second and most easy way is through the NVIDIA control panel (I see you have a GTX 960). Within this control panel, go to the Display section, and within the Display section, go to the section that says Adjust desktop size and position. There you will find several options for how to display games that only have 4:3 resolutions, or even resolutions lower than your monitor's resolution. Here is a video that can be helpful.

Do not think cnc-ddraw is only for CnC games, it supports so many games.

Also you can search at google "Your Game name widescreenfix" or "Your Game name fullscreenfix" , because some of game fans can make fixes for directly their favorite games.

I can simply say that I took the red pill and I am not happy with it.
You usually have 3 choices
Keeping aspect ratio:
1. Fit vertically, Side black bars.
2. Fit horizontally, top/bottom cut-offs.

Squashed/stretched looking:
3. Fitted horizontally and vertically

The filled screen options are 2. and 3.

Usually 1. is best, but that depends on content of the game.

You can do this in the Nvidia Control Panel, or your Monitor controls.

My advice is very simple, not complicatedi no need any guide.

Download the cnc-draw,
Put necesssary files in game directory,
Modify its .ini file to adapt your screen,
Run the game without borders.

I dont know if it will make or not, I didn't try it. I never need Chrome when I play retro games in fullscreen.

But some game can cause that problem when tab to another application or windows explorer (even without cnc-draw)

You cannot know things before trying them.

anyone know how to play the game using dgvoodo2 the game crashes everytime i alt tab out of the game then click to open back the game also did how tto play in 1920x1080 and not have black bars when starting the game.

If you did it the game would probably looked stretched with the top and bottom cut off.

They only way to do it is to stretch the game to fit the screen. By doing this all four sides would be streched. Because there's no room on the top and bottom of the screen the top and bottom would be cut off.
