How to pass the Windows 11 Compatibility Checks


Okay. So according to my HP 550-153w desktop, the TPM is disabled/missing. Does that mean I can enable it in the BIOS or what do I do?

Look at Ghot's post how-to-pass-the-windows-11-compatibility-checks Look at the Work-arounds Section at the bottom. After following what Ghot posted you should be able to install on most systems old and new. I installed on a 10 year old Dell laptop. Check my sects.

As it's a prebuilt system we have no motherboard manuals to check the bios setting, the only way to find out is to go into the bios and look for TPM or PTT or Trusted Platforum, etc and try enabling them.

I have a 250GB SSD. . I don't really want to Dual-Boot. . . And another thing, i'm not even sure if there's a way to genuinely activate Windows 11 right now.

I've an HP laptop of the same age with a sparse UEFI bios. This might help. To get to the bios it's tapping F10 on startup. Go to security heading and check if you see TPN. If it's there un-hide it and make it available.

It's on everybody's machine, just some of us have opted to install the leaked Windows 11 Theme Pack! ;)

Aside from the Taskbar no longer being integrated with the Explorer frame, the rest is just cosmetic cruft.
