I have read in this forum that some of you are unable to run Winaero Tweaker following one of the latest security updates.
Just take the time to do what follows:

1- Run @LesFerch 's batch file that you will find here to reset the Security Threat History.
2- Restart your system as prompted.
3- Watch the short video I recorded to show you how to enable Winaero Tweaker to run.

That's it.

Note: Strangely enough, you only get one chance to do it right, without having to run Les' batch job again as the option
to 'allow threat' never reappears again once viewed.

NOTE: THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CORRECTED IN THE LATEST SECURITY UPDATE. but MAYBE NOT.

ARRGH! I don't get an actions button on Windows Security after running batch, rebooting, hitting winareo, and loading defender. I only need this for the little ARM64 Surface Laptop as I have it running on the two intel machines.

As per @OAT, you should not have to whitelist Winaero Tweaker now that the Defender definitions have been updated, but you will need to clear the protection history if it's already been flagged. The false positive will continue, even with the new definitions, until the history is cleared.

I think they're hitting today. I also suddenly got a beta Definition update on that ARM machine today which is odd to see. Oop's that's antimalware, but beta?
