How to share a folder on a server?

I have two PCs, elliot-pc and elliot-server

Both are running Windows 11 and both are logged into the same Hotmail email address user account.

How can I share a folder on elliot-server, and then access the folder on elliot-pc?

It may be somewhat similar to me using my NAS drive on LAN. I created a Public folder [name can be anything] on it when set up then just Map that folder from any computer connected to the Router whether Wired or Wireless/Wi-Fi, can work with any file in that folder or its subfolders.

create the folder (share) on -server, right click > properties > sharing > advanced sharing options
check "share this folder"
set share name
click "Permissions"
Remove "Everyone" > Add your user account (on the -server) > check full control > Apply > OK

on the -PC open File Explorer > Network - if you dont have file sharing on, it will prompt you to do so (i typically set my network to Private on all my PCs.. you dont have to)

browse to your shared folder, or manually browse it in the Explorer address bar "\\elliot-server" and input the -server username/password
