I cannot encrypt anymore

I cannot encrypt anymore. I messed around with encryption and decription. Now I cannot encrypt any file, subfolder, folder or drive anymore.
When I try: Rightclick folder -> Properties -> Tab General -> Advanced > "Encrypt contents" is grayed out.
How to solve?
