Solved I cant unsubscribe from AMD Adernaline user experience

Hi

After I downloaded ver 25.6.1 and try to unsubscribe I see it say handling and it stop like that. If I restart I find myself still subscribed. Any solution to unsubscribe ?

Go into the Settings > then the Preferences tab, and look at the bottom.

Otherwise: When you installed did you get a “Driver Only” option?

Try uninstalling, then reinstall choosing just the driver.

I don't recommend installing just the drivers with AMD GPUs, as it makes it difficult to change settings.
The best way to avoid the AMD user experience stuff is turn it off during the installation process.

I don't let Windows Update tamper with any drivers, especially AMD GPU stuff. Been burnt by MS with that before today.

I'm not using the standard AMD Adrenalin drivers/software currently as I'm using the Radeon PRO ones. But there should be a setting whereby the Radeon Control Panel should notify the user that a new software/driver package is available but not install it automatically without authorisation from the user.

uninstall and reinstall fixed the problem. Maybe AMD programmer will say this is a feature not a bug ;)
