I Changed Taskbar Height and Now Win 11 Takes From 20 Minutes To An Hour to Boot

I wanted to reduce the size of the taskbar in Windows 11 (a few builds back) and found the solution on the internet. I opened regedit, made the change from "1" to "0" and thje reboot was very long - nearly 25 minutes. I can now expect a wait time of 20 minutes up to nearly an hour whenever I start or reboot. Does anyone know how to correct this condition? I am a new member - just joined. Thanks

You could revert the change and test to see if the boot is any faster. Or just reboot the PC several times to verify it's going to continue to take a longer time.

I just replicated what you did after reading your post and mine just rebooted back fine...
Try to delete the TaskbarSi file that you created and see if that is what really caused the problem.
This is where "system restore" is useful if you created one before you change it.
In fact, before you do any registry hack, you should create a restore point first.
