It's now version 4 and looks very different.

I think that is a different person with same name for his program. I even found a third person using that same name, but since it wasn't connected to the program posted earlier that I linked an update to, I didn't post that info here.

I haven't tried Atuin yet but it will be a big help to me if it works as well as advertized. It's a free open source searchable database that works for Windows Powershell, Terminal and Linux Bash, SSH across multiple machines....

in Powershell history into my online database to get started..

What does Atuin record?

While you work, Atuin records:

The command you run
The directory you ran it in
The time you ran it, and how long it took to run
The exit code of the command
The hostname + user of the machine
The shell session you ran it in

One issue, there's no source to know exactly what the selections do. The nice thing about the PowerShell script is you can see the exact commands.

And you can edit junk out if you have the patience:

It may be easier to just use PowerShell 7 because it keeps a history of your past commands.

Press Ctrl + R to do a Reverse History Search:

Then type your search keyword. Here I typed "height" from a long command I executed previously:

The PowerShell 7 console history is also kept as a simple text file that you can edit yourself:

Pretty simple solution for us...

Just the main DISM commands we use frequently, with an option to output the results to a text file on the user's Desktop.

Rather than clear the DISM log, you could tell each run of the DISM command to generate its own log when it runs. Before the call to run DISM on line 55, you could add this to get a timestamp for log naming:

That will run DISM and create a separate log file on the desktop, with a timestamp in the name, e.g. "dism 2026-09-27-224253.log."

I just tested options 4, 5 and 6
They work as well as 26300.9550 let's them.
Options 4 and 5 go to 70% and then end. But, they do the same in Terminal (Admin) when pasting the whole command.

For anyone that wants to test... download the text file, open it, and save it as... (All files) DISM.bat
Then just right click the .bat file and choose "Run as Administrator".
NOTE: If you have all the Win 11 security stuff turned on, you may have to "unblock" DISM.bat before it will run.

It's pretty too.

Option 2 works fine, and I'm running option 3, right now...
DISM... RestoreHealth is always slow.

Option 3 just finished. Took 21 mins to run on my machine.
Gonna rerun option 2 to see if option 3 did the job...

LOL... still says Component Store is repairable, but that's normal too.
