As it has already been stated, if the integrated GPU is defective you also have a defective CPU. That said, I've seen a few patched up units in my day that keep on keepin' on with a discrete graphics card. Personally, I'm not big on any sort of APU but for one reason: If your discrete card goes you can always remove it and use the onboard graphics instead.
DDR4 is fabulous memory. Keep it and make sure you put it to use no matter what you choose. The price of RAM has all but tripled these days so your RAM is worth considerably more USED than what you first paid for it. DDR5 system memory is rife with issues — especially thermal issues. Sometimes just cleaning our your ports can make a difference. Check all your power connections to your system board. It would be nice if you had a spare system board to test out your CPU. Keep us posted as to your progress.
What concerns me is whether the problem might be elsewhere — namely your motherboard. If such should be the case then there's a good chance your CPU is fine. I've seen this happen before but not with the Asus H670. Myself, I would steer clear of attempting to install a 14th. gen CPU as they are notorious for killing system boards (this is not to say that 13th gen don't do likewise). I would go with a 12th gen because it would be less expensive and tried and tested. (And then I'd O.C. the snot out of it :::grins:::) BUT that's just me.
