Hi everyone,
I'm trying to get iCloud for Windows working on a Microsoft Surface Laptop running Windows 11 on ARM (Qualcomm Snapdragon processor).
The application installs successfully, but when attempting to sign in with an Apple Account, it takes a long time and eventually displays the following error:
"iCloud – Authentication failed. Retry will be attempted."
We've tried the following:
I'm wondering whether this is a known compatibility issue with Windows 11 on ARM, particularly Snapdragon-based Surface laptops.
Has anyone managed to get iCloud for Windows working successfully on a Windows 11 ARM device? If so, did you encounter any authentication issues, and how did you resolve them?
I'm particularly interested in using iCloud Passwords to synchronise passwords between an iPhone and Windows.
Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

- Restarting the laptop.
- Attempting to repair iCloud through Windows Settings, but Windows reported that the application was still running, even after shutting it down.
- Uninstalling iCloud for Windows.
- Confirming that the Apple Account can successfully sign in to iCloud.com using Microsoft Edge.
