If Macrium Reflect X is too expensive, what will you switch to?

I am (and I believe many, many others across the world) practically cut off from any subscription other than in own country and local currency. I have no international credit card so any other way incurs additional costs. I have 2 bank accounts, one in local currency RSD (Serbian Dinar) and one in Canadian Dollar because I have Canadian pension. Even if I could or want to pay in USD or Euro, I would have to make 2 conversions (one from CDN to RSD and from it to USD) which may end up in as much as doubling the price.
Other than that, I can't get discount on multiple subscriptions, because I have only one worthwhile PC, the other one is just spare old model laptop without the need for sophisticated backup.
That's why I'm using free Hasleo which does just as goo or for me even better job.

My MR license runs out in 2 days and they still haven't brought back perpetual licenses, so...off to Hasleo I go.
MR - It backs up, it restores, and it switches to restore only when the license expires (crippleware). No significant updates in almost a year. No reason to go on paying for nothing.

I have one year and one month left on my MR X , I will make a decision in about 12 months. No updates means there is nothing wrong with it worth fixing.

I can say the same about Macrium 8.1 and Hasleo Backup as far as saving my ass though. X is long gone now for me.

It's already too expensive, I've already canceled my Macrium subscription and have switched to Hasleo , it may not backup as fast as Macrium but I'm not looking for or need a speed demon backup solution (slower writes = less chance for errors), and Hasleo's recovery time is comparable to Macrium.

Macrium is good backup software but it's not $50 (U.S.) a year good, not when others can do the same for far less , with perpetual licenses or free.

I got a 3 year subscription for 90 USD, it expires in November 2027. When this date comes I will decide what to use for backups.

Hasleo has now become equal to Macrium with version 6.0 in terms of all the features Macrium has.

I think that was their goal was to have everything the competition offers but at a one time price instead of subscription.

Most of us who have tested HBS extensively have found little or no difference between HBS and REFLECT backup speeds... whether using SSD > SSD or SSD to HDD. Many tests show HBS to actually be a bit faster (They both use the same compression algorithms).

Hasleo is just as reliable as Macrium.

In my testing I created over 1000 images and each one restored without issue.

Hasleo even has Delta restore and universal restore just like Macrium.

Same here. I have four licenses, and because I had a V8 perpetual license, I get a 50% discount for life. Very much worth the money for me.
