No wonder so many people get hacked. My method might not be so user friendly in this case scenario but it would still work. Having a list of 187 passwords in a little black book seems a bit ludicrous to me, but it would still be workable. (An efficient organic memory would help.) I use a total of 7 passwords which I rotate. In written form they are offset (i.e. 1=2, a=b). I can be candid about this because I rather doubt anyone will be beating a pathway to my door at any time to hunt for my little black book where this is recorded. A security specialist might suggest that I have already shared too much. I am hardly worried. A thief would have to get their hands on my little black book first. Rule #1 (when it comes to security) You are your own best first line of defence. My method works for me and has proven itself to work well for me for over a quarter of a century. Of course, there is no one size fits all method.

I have full confidence in how 1Password works and keep all of my passwords in the 1Password vaults. Sharing works very well and Kate and I share the financial accounts. I also like the way 1Password works with Passkeys. I also make good use of Secure Notes.
And not one mention of RoboForm, your own password manager of choice! What restraint!
I too like 1p Combined with multifactor Authentication I am not worried about it- I setup MFA on everything. Windows hello and passkeys - I exit this - i don't trust it yet., Apparently however using passkeys will prevent you from using a fake website. 1pass will try to start 2 accounts if your not careful. I NEVER EVER EVER as a rule type in a password. if I do it gets typed someplace first and pasted in. Rare is a correctly typed password - especially when your feeling rushed. I am looking at Yubikey as well - If windows Hello and Passkeys would have given explanation for it - I might have tried it- It has something to do with the TPM chip and cryptographic key. Public key private key - until they come up with a way to explain how passkeys is better - and its not going to be used to manipulate me in some way, IM NOT USING IT. So its X out of hello X out of PASSKEY and ignore all the other, mainly because of the way they push it. Whats the catch ! it makes me recoil the way they just shove it in your face and don't explain it - and it just causes lots of confusion. People are not aware enough yet as to what is going on here to be using it anyway. If they cant login to their PC then they cant access anything if they are dependant on passkey. It needs that TPM chip. And what happens if credentials get crossways - since when does windows do a good job at these things. ?! Make it easy to share files locally and I will consider it ! ITs like if they cant keep their lines from crossing with networking between PCs how are they going to make TPM and a cryptographic Chip not get cross wired up and lock me out of my accounts.
