i would update the BIOS first to see if UEFI is available after the BIOS update.
you can install Windows 11 24H2 using the MBR boot .. but ..
you will need to format the drive to a GPT partition for Windows 11 24H2 to use the MBR.

you will have to do that while doing the clean install of Windows 11 24H2.

I've never done it, but I believe when you create your installation media, that you can set partition stye in Rufus to MBR. That along with the other options mentioned earlier should get you a MBR installation usb drive.

funny i have just checked Rufus and yes in the advanced settings you can 'add fixes' for old BIOS's
this should enable Windows 24H2 to install with only MBR available in the system's BIOS
Windows should then when installing use GPT for the install.

i also have not had to do or use that method

It's not in advanced. I believe it is on Rufus first screen.
Choosing MBR or GPT in Rufus:
  1. 1. Determine your system's BIOS mode:
    If you're unsure, check your system's boot settings (usually found in the BIOS/UEFI settings).
    • If your system is running BIOS mode, choose MBR.
    • If your system is running UEFI mode, choose GPT.
