I have a weird one...
I am forced to use Inkscape to do something, and while I really don't like Inkscape, I muddle through. I had to update to the latest version to enable some thing in the thing I was doing and now I can't get it to start again. I get a "Stack overflow" error when I run it using CMD as admin.
I have uninstalled Inkscape and tried again
I have uninstalled, cleaned the folder out like it says to do in the Inkscape FAQ, then re-installed.
I cleaned out APPData as well before each install.
Still no joy.
This is Inkscape 1.4.2 and I have to be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what.
