I have Fences and I do like it, but I find Groupy and Start11 even more important to my workflow..
I could live without Fences if I absolutely had to, by creating giant folders on my desktop to act as Fences (although the contents wouldn't be visible).
Despite Dark Knight's claim, Groupy is not out of date. It provides tabbed browsing for groups of ALL apps, not just Explorer. For example, if you're working on a project that employs Excel and PowerPoint, you can have a group of some Excel spreadsheet tabs and some PowerPoint presentation tabs.
