Solved Insider Preview gone

Interesting update check a couple weeks ago, I've been on it since it was called Technical Preview then went to Insider Preview Dev channel and during the check it wanted to do the compatibility for Win11 instead. I ended up with Win11 installed even though the computer can't meet the specs. However, it won't get me back to Win10 IP unless I do a fully clean reinstall.

That happened with my laptop. It technically doesn't qualify but they let me put the preview of 11 on it. I did it in a dual boot with 10. After a bit, they kicked the machine out of the program. I got rid of Insider and Win 11 and went back to just booting 10. Then I found that Windows Update wouldn't work any more in 10. I wound up having to do a repair install of 10 and luckily didn't lose anything in the process.

I haven't decided what to with the IP computer. I took the advice when first joining the Technical Preview to not put it on the only computer or a production computer so rehabbed one I'd been given for parts and it worked good until this issue came up. I probably will put Win10 RTM on it and make it available to some new home but everyone is looking for portables now.
