Solved Insiders Build 10.0.22621.105 - Wireless Profile (xml), 'UseWinLogonCredentials' no longer working

After updating from Win11 21H2 to Win11 22H2, our wireless profile (managed via Group Policy) no longer works properly. In the XML config, we have "UseWinLogonCredentials" set to TRUE.

Previously on Win11 21H2 this would work fine. A user could sign into windows and it would authenticate automatically to our corporate wifi.

On Win11 22H2 (currently on 10.0.22621.105), it will NOT sign into our corporate wifi automatically. When you select the wireless SSID it says "Action Needed". If you click on it again, it'll prompt you for windows credentials (both fields blank).

Has anyone else seen this in their environment? I haven't seen mention of similar behavior in any forums I've searched online.

UPDATE: Confirmed via open support case with Microsoft that they acknowledge this issue with Win11 22H2, and that it's actively being worked on with no known workaround or fix in the meantime.

Microsoft force enabled Credential Guard on Windows 11 22h2, you can resolve the issue by disabling through policy.

Thanks! That fixed it.
I had to disable Credential Guard and also disable Virtualization Based Security through GPO (or Intune in my case).
