Solved "Install driver to show hardware" issue on Ryzen CPUs using bootable USB from Win11 Media Creation Tool

I had the same issue on the installer. I was flashing the win 11 ISO using balena etcher but that creates a UDF filesystem but the installer needs fat32. Using ventoy resolved the issue
First, welcome to ElevenForum!

Just for clarification, UDF is an optical media format (CD, DVD, Blu-Ray). This is independent of what you would store on a HDD, SSD, or your USB drive.

The files themselves have no inherent format - it is the drive and how it is setup that determines the format.

As an example, if you open an ISO image of a Windows installation media, you will find that the format is UDF. If you then copy the files to your HDD, SSD, or USB drive, then the files will be stored in FAT32, NTFS, etc. (whatever the format of that drive is).

Again, the files have no inherent format - the format is determined by the media itself.

So if you have a USB drive with a partition that is formatted as FAT32, then all files you save there will be stored in a FAT32 format regardless of the format on the source from which they were copied.

I'd like to quote from Etcher's own docs:

Why is my drive not bootable?

Etcher copies images to drives byte by byte, without doing any transformation to the final device, which means images that require special treatment to be made bootable, like Windows images, will not work out of the box. In these cases, the general advice is to use software specific to those kind of images, usually available from the image publishers themselves.

Images known to require special treatment:

Yes, Windows 11 installation media is still not working with AMD Ryzen (I have 5 5500GT) platforms.

Downloaded the latest ISO file from Microsoft web site. Created a bootable USB drive with Rufus 4.7. Got this "Install driver to show hardware" message. My hardware was bought without OS so this was a clean install.

So, I downloaded the latest 23H2 build from UUP dump web site and created a bootable USB drive with Rufus 4.5. This combination worked for my PC. Thank you @k_rollo.

This installation project took me several hours partly because I was new to UUP dump but as I have been working with Windows PCs since the first Windows version, I was not surprised. No offense. ;-)
