Solved installed 11pro, can not login, claims password must be reset? also showing my user name sdown, why?

They both work, the Acer speed could be improved with an SSD
The Asus comes up fast.
On my Q550LF I have replaced the HDD with a 128G SSD and replaced the ODD drive with a caddy to hold the HDD. I have the speed of a SSD and the space of HDD at low cost. Nowadays a SSD is very affordable but at the time I received the laptop it wasn't.
I suggest you replace the HDD on the Q550LF with a SSD. Mine boots in 25 Sec.

They were donations for school use from a former school board member-friend.
I can make suggestions. My wife brought them home for me to get working with win11 pro
To make the ACER better an SSD will definitely help a lot.
Things being what they are, who knows what will happen.

So far I like the Q550LF with lit screen keys and the Nvidia card. Maybe they will give it to her. She works as a librarian- study hall, Used to be one of their English high school teachers.
