Installed pro unactivated, but my license is for home.

So with USB we made, we installed 11 on a new hardware. Then we choosed PRO. After installation we wanted to activate it with the key we have, but the they is NOT pro, it's for home. How can we revert the installation to HOME?
If I stick in my USB key with 11 on it, and reinstall will we loose everything?
