Hello,

I have an issue I cant seem to fix with Internet Properties Window in the security tab.

Internet Properties.jpg

So I am administrator and recently the window got that message at bottom.
I checked with AntiVirus Company who said they do not restrict access to that.
I checked gpedit.msc and nothing is configured to restrict access to that window or functions.
Everything is set to Not Configured in gpedit.msc so I am unsure of why I can not longer make changes in the internet Properties window.

How do I Get rid of that restriction since I cant find a way? Please
It is only on the Security Tab and no other tab in the Internet Properties.

Thanks
Para

I checked that post and everything is already set as per that post.
I did not have to change a thing as it was exactly as post was.

And I could not find that regedit name to change.

Thanks

Only place I can select things is in the advanced tab and option is "Restore Advanced Settings"

Hello,

Thanks for all the help everyone.
Also sorry for late reply been very ill.

I am not sure which fix it was but one of them worked and issue is solved.
I was also told by word of mouth while in er that if you go to start menu search for advanced settings then go to Computer Name tab, then select the Network ID button and switch from business network to home computer, that that also can sometimes fix the issue.

Anyways Thanks again
