Is there a new fix for the file explorer shortcut glitch?

After finally upgrading to win11 I couldn't open file explorer from my pinned shortcut. I found a fix that involved, strangely enough, changing the icon. But now my computer updated without my knowing it was going to and once again, I can't open it from the shortcut. Is there an easy fix? I rarely even use my PC so I'm not willing to do a reinstall or anything but it would be nice if it worked like it's supposed to. It's win11 and the computer is a custom build. thank you

edit-now no files will open at all. One did (an open office file), I edited it and saved it, closed it, renamed it, and now it doesn't open. Just a spinning circle and nothing. I rebooted and they opened but once closed, they won't open again.

If you have any 3rd party app that alters the GUI, uninstall it and restart.

If it's been less than 10 days since you upgraded you can rollback to 23h2 using recovery OR you can restore an image you made while in 23h2.
