Welcome to ElevenForum @reddwarf4ever

Not sure what you are actually asking?
Have you had issues or simply looking for an easy option to install?
I would suggest you have a look in Installation, Updates and Activation
Pretty sure this will cover most of your questions :)
If not, post back in the appropriate thread with your specific questions, and hopefully someone smarter than me can help out.

Hello reddwarf4ever, I see you've just come over from Ten Forums to join us here.

By 'work' I presume you mean workarounds to install on your unsupported PC as your AMD 6800K is not on the Microsoft list of Windows 11 supported AMD processors. Yes there are, some of them from Microsoft.

Warning:
  • Microsoft recommends against installing Windows 11 on a device that does not meet the Windows 11 minimum system requirements. If you choose to install Windows 11 on a device that does not meet these requirements, and you acknowledge and understand the risks, you can create the following registry key values and bypass the check for TPM 2.0 (at least TPM 1.2 is required) and the CPU family and model....

For an in-place upgrade from W10 to W11, the simplest way is start the upgrade, let it fail, delete C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\appraiserres.dll then go back and try again. It will skip all system checks on the second try.

Be aware though that MS make no guarantees that an unsupported install will continue to get updates. At present they do, but that may change. So make sure you have a system image of your W10 you can go back to before trying out 11.

Microsoft said:
The following disclaimer applies if you install Windows 11 on a device that doesn't meet the minimum system requirements:

This PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements for running Windows 11 - these requirements help ensure a more reliable and higher quality experience. Installing Windows 11 on this PC is not recommended and may result in compatibility issues. If you proceed with installing Windows 11, your PC will no longer be supported and won't be entitled to receive updates. Damages to your PC due to lack of compatibility aren't covered under the manufacturer warranty.

Thankyou, I’ll make an extra Macrium reflect backup before trying this….

not sure if my mobo will accept a compatible CPU ???

also don’t know if my Mobo will accept TPM 2.0 ???

I know you from TF, I had no doubts that you wouldn't take the necessary precautions first. As for running 11 on unsupported devices, well if I can run it on a 1st gen i5 in my System Two below then you should have no problems

What precautions, ??? That’s why I am asking here…..amd I take a MR image backup every day, so not sure what other ‘precautions’ I should take

The way I see it, take a backup of your WIN 10 setup before doing the upgrade. File it away for safe keeping just in case (1) the upgrade goes pear shape and you then can restore your system, or (2) If WIN 11 stops receiving updates etc for UNSUPPORTED PC's you can roll back and restore WIN 10 and soldier on (nothing really lost in the process) You will still have a running OS.
Thats what I am doing for my System 2 unsupported PC.

The necessary 'precaution' is to keep your latest W10 image in a safe place so that in the event that MS decide to block any further updates for unsupported installs you can go back to using W10. This may happen tomorrow, a year from now, or never. But it's a risk you need to be aware of and prepared for.

Thanks

according to my research my mobo has a TPM 2.0 header, but can’t be certain if one is installed or not, if not then no idea which one to buy, then maybe I can upgrade the CPU to a windows 11 compatible one, have asked GB waiting a reply

thanks
