Batch files are fine. WMIC is now an optional feature but will soon be completely removed (soon; as in years, I’m sure). You can just convert those commands to powershell execution though… so it’s not like those commands won’t still function (obviously I’m referring to post-conversion commands). If you don’t want to call powershell from the bat, you can just convert them to ps1 completely.
