It's safe to remove DriveFS from google folder ?

Hello, I am running low on space and I would like to clean some files and I found folder inside google folder takes up a lot of space almost 12gb.
It's safe to remove ?

Inside DriveFS folder, there is another folder with number.

It is cache. Google themselves recommend moving the folder to desktop, then checking if everything is still intact and working and then deleting the folder. Maybe fully quit drive first by clicking the ^ on taskbar, right click the Google Drive logo and click Quit, Exit or whatever it shows there.
