JLab mouse is too sensitive when lifted

I just purchased a wireless JLab EpicMouse. It seems like a decent mouse, with one exception... The sensor is too sensitive. If I lift the mouse up off the table 1/4" it still registers movements. Needless to say that makes the mouse pretty much useless. My screen is 5120x1440, so I usually use multiiple swipes of the mouse to go across the screen.

I don't see any way to adjust the height sensitivity in the JLab software. Is there someplace in Windows 11 that I might be able to compensate for this? Any hardware mods that may work?

For 5120 x 1440 screen... you're gonna need a better mouse. One with higher DPI...

I would think somewhere around 4000 - 6000 DPI for a wide screen like that.
You should never have to "use multiple swipes" of a mouse.

Either that, or get a bigger mouse pad, or larger area, for your mouse.

Hmmm... Maybe I will swap this mouse for the Logitech G305 that I use with my laptop.

Try it at least. Come up with a plan where you don't have to "lift" the mouse, on the wide screen. :-)
