I'm a big fan of Mini PCs. I have about 10 of them. But, the problem is that service tends to be lacking for a lot of these inexpensive Chinese branded Mini PCs. However, back in June I purchased my first Mini PC from a brand by the name of Aoostar. A few weeks ago I was updating the UEFI FW on that machine and it would no longer boot after the update. First time in my life I ever had a BIOS or UEFI FW update go sideways. I contacted Aoostar and they said, "no problem, we'll send you a replacement. You don't need to return the defective unit".
I had thought for sure that they were going to send a barebones unit and have me transfer the SSD over, but nope. They sent a fully populated unit.
Just felt like sharing because it's always nice when one gets great support like that these days when good service seems so rare.
