Who uses jv16 Power Tools? Does it work the way they describe it? If you accidentally did something wrong (such as deleting a file), can you go back and undo it?
I'm considering this app, but I can easily get myself in trouble 🫤

I used it forever, back in the day.
Last decent version was jv16pt_setup1.3.0.195 ...
I wasn't very fond of the newer versions, and version 1.3... work a bit on Win 7, but after that, they messed it up.


Here's what it used to look like... back when ships were wood and men were iron. :D

jv16 v1.3.0.xxx still installs on Win 11, but do NOT run any of it modules. That would be foolish. ^^
jv16 was sort of like REVO and it's "scan" button.

I only really used the Registry tool, which, like REVO's "scan" button, removed all the leftovers.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
Nothing against Jouni and his tools...he puts a lot of effort into them.

In general, I have seen more issues than benefits with multi-faceted cleanup and tuneup tools.

I'm sure as a Power User you understand the risks, and are probably taking the standard precautions such as standard restore points, point-in-time restore points, frequent drive images, and frequent backups of your personal data.
