KB5012643 breaks Skype

After installing KB5012643 I could no longer share screens or get their camera video on latest version of Skype. The client could receive my shared screen or cam feed, but as soon as They tried sharing with me Skype would crash. By trial and error we narrowed it down to this update AND by uninstalling the update all worked fine again. So now I am running this version without any Skype issues:

Interesting. I have Skype removed as I don't use it anymore, and I cannot get this particular update to install lol. Guess Microsoft really wants to break Skype!

Seriously, though, good to know that this update breaks incoming video streams. That will help other users for sure.

Update: It appears that this might be just related to the Intel 770 chipset as other computers with different video devices are working ok.

Yes, they do - hence the reason it was funny!

But also, technically, applicable, as they are really pushing people, and businesses in particular, to migrate to using Teams instead of Skype.

Well, they just lost me on Teams. I don't like Edge or Chrome.
