yes used uup dump iso to clean install and should be a update on Tuesday for patch Tuesday

Did a clean install, was going OK. All drivers etc were fine. Installed Forza Horizon 5 from XBox app, game wouldn't load. I've restored my backups, I'll just do an in place upgrade instead. Too much effort to find the problem, the game should just work. Wish we could still get installers for games!

In-place upgrade done, now on Version 22621.4.

I've still got the problem with Event Viewer not working for a while after a reboot, none of the suggested fixes ever worked for me. Which is one reason for me wanting to clean install

Yes, all checks done, many times. SFC never finds anything. Malwarebytes and Defender full scans find nothing. Other users reported this problem a while ago, in fact I have another PC that did it. It's still not working properly on my PC.

Since I never received this update, I decided to do what others already have done, run 22621.1 setup again to get 22621.4.
It did the trick and seems to be working just fine.

I'm not convinced there's any difference between .1, .3 or .4 apart from the number. If there was anything significant surely it would have been delivered to all through Windows Update? I'm with clam1952 on this, and will wait for the first real update.....

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro (and all my Hyper-V VMs).

    My SYSTEM FOUR is a 2-in-1 convertible Lenovo Yoga 11e 20DA, Celeron N2930, 8GB RAM, 256GB ssd. Unsupported device: currently running Win10 Pro, plus Win11 Pro RTM and Insider Beta as native boot vhdx.

The way I see it is that if MS didn't want us to have it they wouldn't offer it through their official installer. :giggle:

yes, in ConvertConfig.ini set the
[Store_Apps]
CustomList =1

Then in CustomAppsList.txt, remove the hash (#) from those app package names that you wanna integrate with the ISO,
for example, I've removed the hashes for the following 10 apps, & only those apps are added while creating ISO
