Just received the KB5058499 preview and installed fast without issues. Dism Restore ops completed fast and SFC found the usual corruption on my system 2 (Asus) that was fixed after a rerun of SFC. Strorage Sense found 1GB redundant Temp. data that I purged.

I regret the hell out of this update.. I wait a long time for Nvidia to fix their issues, and now this MS update has caused those same issue with my video... and browser, going black and coming back... wish I could say here how I really feel... it was finally working pretty nice and they nuked it!

no sound after update. details: x570 dark hero viii(realtek) + steelseries sonar for higher sound. never encountered this problem before. i don't have ms insider app, so I can't open ticket. in cpanel>sounds picking speakers as playback device instead SteelSeries Sonar -Gaming "workaround" it, but quality is lost I think. this is very important to me and any help would really be highly appreciated!!!

Was offered this update today (first time computer was turned on in a couple of days....even I need a vaca every now and then :P ).

Installed fine - ran Tuneup_Plus and got zero errors - ran a couple of games with zero errors.

another wasted amount of time for me no new features on a local account even tried the vive tool brink suggested.
What am i missing or doing wrong? Got the update from windows update shows it was installed. Are any of these so called updates going to work on a non co pilot pc.

I have a non-Co-pilot system. It's a definite "Meh" update for me. Not much for the average user. Maybe the HDR change is exciting for gamers.

I do see that they improved the Profanity Filter for Voice-to-text. I think that's mostly to clean up what gets sent to Microsoft via the Feedback mechanism.
