To get the standalone package(s) for this update, go to the Microsoft Update Catalog website. This KB contains one or more MSU files that require installation in a specific order.

Install this update

Method 1: Install all MSU files together

Download all MSU files for KB5077181 from Microsoft Update Catalog and place them in the same folder (for example, C:/Packages). Use Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM.exe) to install the target update. DISM will use the folder specified in PackagePath to discover and install one or more prerequisite MSU files as needed.

Updating Windows PC

To apply this update to a running Windows PC, run the following command from an elevated Command Prompt:

DISM /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:c:\packages\Windows11.0-KB5077181-x64.msu

Or, run the following command from an elevated Windows PowerShell prompt:

Add-WindowsPackage -Online -PackagePath "c:\packages\Windows11.0-KB5077181-x64.msu"

Or use Windows Update Standalone Installer to install the target update.

Updating Windows Installation media

To apply this update to Windows Installation media, see Update Windows installation media with Dynamic Update.

Note: When downloading other Dynamic Update packages, ensure they match the same month as this KB. If the SafeOS Dynamic Update or Setup Dynamic Update is not available for the same month as this KB, use the most recently published version of each.

To add this update to a mounted image, run the following command from an elevated Command Prompt:

DISM /Image:mountdir /Add-Package /PackagePath:Windows11.0-KB5077181-x64.msu

Or, run the following command from an elevated Windows PowerShell prompt:

Add-WindowsPackage -Path "c:\offline" -PackagePath "Windows11.0-KB5077181-x64.msu" -PreventPending

Method 2: Install each MSU file individually, in order

Download and install each MSU file individually either using DISM or Windows Update Standalone Installer in the following order:
  1. windows11.0-kb5043080-x64_953449672073f8fb99badb4cc6d5d7849b9c83e8.msu
  2. windows11.0-kb5077181-x64_33d38563662e659ceb84fb8b65aa05ce5876f5a4.msu
1 This latest cumulative update includes updates for AI components. Even though the AI component updates are included in the update, the AI components are only applicable to Windows Copilot+ PCs and will not install on Windows PC or Windows Server.

If you want to remove the LCU

To remove the LCU after installing the combined SSU and LCU package, use the DISM/Remove-Package command line option with the LCU package name as the argument. You can find the package name by using this command: DISM /online /get-packages.

Running Windows Update Standalone Installer (wusa.exe) with the /uninstall switch on the combined package will not work because the combined package contains the SSU. You cannot remove the SSU from the system after installation.

I just updated one of my computers to W11 v25H2 (26200) from 24H2 (26100). When I look at the February updates that are ready to apply, the security update (KB5077181) indicates that is for 26100 instead of 26200. Will this cause a problem?

JohnD
24H2 and 25H2 share the same base 26100 + an enablement package for 25H2, I think the security update is common to both.

Mine shows 26200.7840, but I have been on 25H2 for a long time.

It did not even do a Restart after applying the update. So I did a restart and then I did another check for updates and it then downloaded the 26200 version of KB5077181 plus a .NET Framework update. It did restart after that update. Will have to see if everything is OK.

@hader Hi hader. What I am asking is for someone to confirm whether Storage sense is working properly or not in W11 after installing February's updates. Windows Updates Cleanup files do not appear in my Temporary files in Settings, that is why I am asking. :-)

Bo
Hi Bo,

Storage sense is not an issue here. All residu of all updates are stored somewhere else. The Temporary Files only contains temporary data made by programs when installing, programs that store the temporary data there. It even places there some Windows logs on your system there that's collecting during the day. If you do not clean then this dir will fill itself with more and more files. Each file is small but if there are 50.000 files there it will slow down and hampering Windows. So it's advisable to clean these every 2 or 3 months. I do this on a regular basis. I install a lot of program to test them. See what it does and then uninstall them. It's advisable to use a program like Revo Uninstaller to deinstall and searches for entry's that programs leave behind when installed. (Adobe is famous for leaving the most trash behind when deinstalled; many hundred keys are then orphaned) That is one thing that is missing in Windows. It does not monitor what keys are injected inside the registry. All those useless registry keys will slow Windows down when starting up. It goes through the whole registry to see what settings it must load. That takes up time..... When left unintended eventually your Windows will add seconds to the time it needs to start Windows. System seems to be getting slower and slower at startup over a long period of time.

As I said Left behinds from updates. Windows.old is a special left behind. Only is there after an In-Place-Installment. You see it in your file explorer, but don't start to delete it as admin. It will fail and give you an headache in trying to delete files. ("You do not have the rights to delete this file." Correct your Admin not TrustedInstaller.) Many files are owned by the TrustedInstaller (the highest user inside Windows. Higher then admin)

So in order to delete these left behinds of Windows; use cleanmgr.msc. When started select Drive C. You see a list of items which the user can delete at will without any consequences. Click on the button Clean systemfiles. Choose again Drive C. You will see the same list again but now the item Clean Windows Update is added (and if available Windows.old.) You can cleanup those items. Bare in mind when doing so; you then can't remove any updates which you might to uninstall. You just deleted those backup files that can be placed back in that uninstall option. Personally I don't trust that uninstall option completely. The risk that when not in the correct order or something goes wrong you will damage Windows. In that case you have to do an In-Place-Installment. I rather restore the complete C-drive from a backup that I make on a regular basis, back again in minutes instead of waiting for 20 minutes to execute that In-Place-Installment. (After 7705 and 7840 I cleanup some 528Mb of update files)

Note: If you use Outlook from an Office product; Before the restore (close Outlook) save your Outlook files (Anything under C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook) to an other location. Do the restore. After the restore place those Outlook file from that other location to it's original location. Then start Outlook. If you start Outlook with the files in the restore; When starting Outlook; it looks at the current date and compare that with those old Outlook files. Says they are damaged and instruct you close Outlook to delete any .pst file and start Outlook again. It then it will getting the data from the e-mail servers again which can take a while. (You can export those .pst first inside Outlook and import them back again. But that can take up some time; you have to backup each e-mail box and agenda separate and import it again. (what if you forget one? It will retrieve it from the server anyways...) To much fuzz. Copy-past is easier and faster. That export function is mainly intended if you want to use a different e-mail client like Thunderbird which is also a great e-mail client. They adding more and more functions all the time while Outlook still remains the same.)

Took me an hour to read this post. Worth it.
Well. It takes some minutes to read it all (it's tldr if you mean that in other words) but more important to understand what I am basically saying. I like to know the nuts and bolts of everything. That includes Windows. To explain some of it takes some text. I can't say this in 2 sentences; because everybody has an certain level of understanding; from noobs to experts. Can't know whose who. I already gave him a clue how to cleanup but he just wanted some more explanation. This post was only intended for him. If others read it and find the info useful then that's also OK. If I explain some things; I do, but more important the reason why. Knowing what's behind it all is the most important step of all.

Along the way I am learning also. My original post here was about 7840. Found two things; 2 extra packages can't be cleanup. (That's 4 now) and the strange behavior of DISM /StartComponentCleanup bailing out to soon. My 7705 build had not those problems. The only extra step I made after the backup I made with 7705 was to delete everything what has to do with AI. As of now I can see that one person also confirmed that bailing out. Him and the rest are still reporting 2 packages (standard) can't cleaned up. I suspect that removing all these AI things (RemoveWindowsAI-main from github) damaged my Windows. That's the only conclusion I can take from this all. No worry's. I just have to restore a backup before that AI cleanup and with 7705 all cleaned up. But first I will try to do undo those cleanup AI actions (The creator of RemoveWindowsAI-main said it can revert the changes made. Will see if that's the case. If not? I would not advise anybody to use this program. There are unreversible risks involved here when a newer update arrives! If no backup then you must go through the In-Place-Installment proces to correct things.) and then repair everything and see what this will bring me. If it fails; Restore and getting 7840 again. Will have a fresh and clean Windows within minutes. Those 4 packages will be 2 again and that DISM command is still broke I am afraid. Will make a backup again when everything is alright (Despite the broken DISM. Will try to see why it's broken. There is always a reason for this.... Will leave that good 7705 backup for a bit longer.)

[Ranting]
My understanding of Windows and MS? Their running arround like a chicken without a head. (This is independently what also other experts are saying. 25H2 is the worst product for a very long time. Don't take my word for it. Listen to others. They are saying the same things.) They are using the general public as guineapigs! Where is that Canary or what ever channel good for? I have seen their attempt to prepare us for their CA2023 (a subject I know everything about by now. Helped many people with this subject in order to be prepaired now. I am not waiting on that update. If something goes wrong MS will have a hugh problem.) Yes we will replace the current PCA2011 with the PCA2023 one... With 7705 they replaced some 174 drivers (248 in total. 74 in other locations) inside the C:\Windows\system32\drives map. All pointing still to the old PCA2011 certificate. With 7840 they again replaced 11 drivers files also pointing towards the old PCA2011 certificate. (Why? I suspect that there was something wrong with the 7705 ones....) And all the time; no PCA2023 installed. In their explanation of their KB; "Devices will receive the new certificates only after they show sufficient successful update signals." Oh yeah? BS. You can't replace the necessary files in one go. You had to test it first with 2 updates. And it's a chicken and the egg story. You can't replace all drivers pointing towards the PCA2023 first without that PCA2023 installed first!!. There is nothing wrong by adding this certificate to the Intermediate store like a year ago. If nothing is pointing towards it, it is just sitting there doing nothing. Nothing will be broke by this. So why is that there now already? I really have no clue. Are they stupid I wonder?

Some people are just fed up with this all and are taking steps towards Linux. MS is mad as hell about this. They see their figures drop. MS is taking this seriously. They in some words apologize. They will focus more what Windows is to intended to do; running programs. They are making the mistake again with 26H1. Focus and optimize everything for ARM computers. Will be another worthless product like 25H2 which is still basically the old 24H2 with some extra modifications. (Proof? Run (as Admin) DISM /Online /Get-Packages /Format:Table > <location>\packages.txt and see all the version; They are still all!! 26100....) Their new menu with category? We are still waiting on it. (It's already there but not turned on) In the mean time we revert to ViVeTools where we can turn this damn thing on.
[/Ranting]

Well this will take you another hour to read this all I guess.... Sorry.... :lmao:

Since your post covers both deep-dive troubleshooting and a broader critique of Microsoft's current direction, I’ve broken the summary into your technical findings and your industry perspective.

1. Technical Deep-Dive: Build 7840 & AI Removal

  • The DISM Issue: You’ve identified that DISM /StartComponentCleanup is failing ("bailing out") on Build 7840, leaving 4 packages that cannot be cleaned, compared to only 2 on Build 7705.
  • The "AI Cleanup" Culprit: You suspect that using the RemoveWindowsAI-main script from GitHub may have damaged the component store, leading to these errors.
  • The Recovery Plan: You are going to attempt a "revert" using the script’s own function. If that fails, you’ll restore your 7705 backup—which you’ve kept as a "gold standard"—and re-update to 7840 without the aggressive AI removal to see if DISM stabilizes.

2. The Certificate Paradox (PCA2011 vs. PCA2023)

  • The "Chicken and Egg" Problem: Microsoft is trying to transition to the PCA2023 certificate for driver signing but is doing it inconsistently.
  • The Flaw: They’ve updated hundreds of drivers in system32\drivers, yet those files still point to the old PCA2011 certificate. You argue that they should have simply added the 2023 certificate to the Intermediate store a year ago to prepare the ground, rather than this messy, incremental replacement.

3. State of Windows: The "Headless Chicken" Critique

  • Product Quality: You view 25H2 as a major step backward—essentially a rebranded 24H2 (Build 26100) that hasn't actually evolved.
  • ARM Focus: You see the upcoming 26H1 as another potential failure because MS is over-optimizing for ARM computers at the expense of the existing user base.
  • The "Guinea Pig" Effect: You believe the different Windows "channels" (Canary, etc.) aren't doing their job, and the general public is being used as beta testers for half-baked features like the new "Category" menu.

Summary in a sentence: You’re currently diagnosing whether third-party AI removal tools broke your 7840 component store, while simultaneously calling out Microsoft for a messy certificate transition and a lack of clear direction in their latest OS builds.

@mecanicogolf
I for one can see where all this is leading to. At this moment they think they own our machines. That whole secure boot crap is only there because MS wanted it so. (Linux doesn't need this crap. Linux wants us to turn this crap off. Their security are strictly based on root privileges. So they don't need that secure boot crap.) MS forced the OEM's to put this option (it is an option!!!) inside their BIOS's.... With the replacement of CA2023 they will force things again. Secure Boot off? OK. Well mark your system as unreliable then and you will not receive any security updates from now on.... (like they forced us all when they introduced Windows 11 to set their demands. No TPM 2.0 onboard? No go. Not a recent CPU? To old: No go.) I just bypassed their demands on my old machine with no TPM and an older i7-6700K CPU.... And surprise surprise.. It even runs faster then Windows 10 did. What MS demanded was total BS. They did this in the hope we all spend more money on a new modern machine. That's a deal they made with all OEM's. Mo money. (They will deny this of course. Would I also do... :lie:) They introduced AI into Windows so they can spy on us a bit more. With that data they are selling it to third party's. That is what keeping MS afloat. Going to Linux. Ha... Yes that will hurt them seriously. No wonder they ranting about Linux. And that Secure Boot option? Total BS! If they adapted their bootloader with one option secure boot on or off as a parameter that will do the trick also. There is totally no need to put this option into the BIOS. Yes I have bought a totally new machine some 2 years back. Not because of MS. But only because I wanted a modern RTX graphics card (moderate GPU RTX3060Ti is enough for me) with PCI4 speed. My older system with a fast GTX1080 could not cope with the demands that modern games today has. The new RTX3060Ti can..... (No need for a very expansive RTX5090 which cost over $1000 in most cases. The worst product of NVIDIA ever. They are contant putting out update after update to fix their problems with the their product. They are stopping now with the production of these card now because of the issues. In they mean time they are struggling AMD will keep advancing more and more.)

I can also predict where everything is leading to. We have seen that already with Office. Office 365 in the cloud with a monthly subscription. Mo Money. I predict that a future Windows version will run in the cloud also. Also based on a monthly subscription. Again Mo Money. I for one am strongly against the way MS is forcing us all to do. Want to buy Windows and run locally. The same have I done with Office. If they will continue by this way? Hello Linux also as a permanent solution. (Have a dual boot system now) Linux isn't there yet to completely take over Windows. But with every distribution they are progressing towards their goal. Even a Linux distribution runs games faster then Windows can. No wonder. There is so much bloatware installed by now Windows is taking up more and more resources. Linux doesn't do that. It only loads what's needed nothing more or less....

And. I don't know if you have noticed this; MS, Amazon, Meta etc. they all want to build big AI datacenters in the US. They are sitting on the forefront of chips demands. Because of this DDR5 prices for consumers skyrocketing now. What you paid for 1 year ago has now been nearly tripled in prices for consumers. They are gobbling up everything. Leaving us to hang to dry. Factory's can't keep with their demands. And it will only getting worse. Prices of graphics card's, SSD's, NVMe's and CPU's will rise also. (We see it already now! NVMe prices are on the rise also. For now 2x!) The industry is putting the demand onto the chip manufactures. They can't keep up. They are busy to build larger additional factory's but that will take at least a year or more when they are at full capacity. In the near future prices are on the rise for consumers maybe until 2028. In worst case even to 2030. Retailers can't even get DDR5 memory for cheap prices. One retailer has to revert towards "Bring your own Memory" concept. The retailers are crying havoc by now. It's hurting their business also. They can't sell you a $4000 system! Nobody would buy it with their right minds... To make things worse; the industry makes use of bot's that will scan every site for cheap memory and places orders if they find one. A method that leave humans defendless. Anybody now who wants a new system; you have to pay for it for a higher price. And these prices will go up in the nearby future!..... And the funny thing about it all... Those big tech company's are spending billions for it all without checking if they will get their investment back again..... Some people are realizing that now and are putting their foot on the brakes by now..... These are crazy times all because those big tech giants want to use AI for everything. They think only: Mo Money..... :ffs:

Since your post covers both deep-dive troubleshooting and a broader critique of Microsoft's current direction, I’ve broken the summary into your technical findings and your industry perspective.
.....

Summary in a sentence: You’re currently diagnosing whether third-party AI removal tools broke your 7840 component store, while simultaneously calling out Microsoft for a messy certificate transition and a lack of clear direction in their latest OS builds.
Yes that's all boiling down to it. Don't know what you want to hear from me?

It is what it is. That CA2023 certificate could be there a year ago. The Intermediate store is also filled with certificates that does nothing also. Why should a PCA2023 be any different then? It can coexist alongside PCA2011 without any problems. I just can't understand why MS is waiting for. They can put that certificate today if they want. It does nothing to our Windows. It will have only an effect if they replace every file that's pointing towards the current active PCA2011 towards that new PCA2023 certificate with a future update. Seen their previous attempts and failing. It seems that MS is unsure what they are doing. They put these constraints upon us all and are afraid if the update that will be released whereby all files are replaced will go wrong. If that's goes wrong? Bye bye MS. It is what they wanted to force upon all. These are the consequences.

And that secure boot inside the BIOS is also BS. MS forced the OEM's to do this. They could also adapted their bootloader that looks at a file with one line; secure boot=on or off..... Protected by the highest user inside Windows; the TrustedInstaller. Even a secure OS like Linux does not need it. It's build securely arround the strict regulations of root. No, MS wants to own all our machines. (Do not want Linux. Install Linux? Turn off secure boot...) Forcing us to buy new systems with the introducing Windows 11. Also total crap and BS demands. And now they already pushed AI down our throats if we want it or not.

I can't blame them; people are fed up with these BS demands and are stepping over to Linux. If MS is keeping this up; I will go to Linux also. I am just waiting for the right distribution on my dual boot system. I see that they are advancing towards that point. They are not right there at the moment but because it's an opensource product everybody is helping to getting to be a real contender for Windows. MS may not like this at all. They are to blame for this all with this forcing upon us all their demands. They think they own our machines. No you don't! I have only bought Windows as a product to use. They are forgetting this in their search for making Mo Money..... Their dream? Windows in the cloud with a monthly subscription....

For the good order. I am not a Linux fanboy. I rather use Windows for now. I am not happy where MS is going to. Their demands are getting more and more ridiculous as time progresses.

OK. Some feedback now concerning that remove all AI issue (Using that RemoveWindowsAI-main github script). It is important to use this script with the same version as you were using to remove all AI with. The designer released a newer version yesterday. I did not wanted to use that version because I can't vadem what changes he has made.

OK. Go ahead with reverting the changes made before 7840. As expected it did not went well. It was trying to restore some removed packages (5 pcs) and get stonewalled by MS servers with the error: "An error occurred: The remote server returned an error: (403) Not Allowed." Not to worry at this time... Some other errors also appeared. Also not to worry at this time. MS has some means up their sleeves to correct things. After this was done; Reboot.

Now let's see if DISM is capable to fix things when AI things are turned back on again. Did a "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" command first. I followed the reaction of the CBS engine very close and to my surprise; it saw that these packages were missing. It went then to downloading them one by one. Operation was completed without any errors. Then SFC /scannow. That fixed some things also. Now let's see if it's capable to reduce the number of packages from 4 to 2 again. Checked it first with DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore command. Yes. I know there are 4 packages can't remove now instead of the normal 2. So DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup command then.... To my total amazement; It did not bail out this first time. Went up to 100% and went back to 70% towards 100% in order to remove the ones that it could not remove before. (normal behavior) Analyzed it again and YES. Remaining number went back to 2 and the functionality of DISM also returned to normal behavior without bailing out for the first time. After this it's bailing out as before. But this time it's related totally to that 7840 update. 7705 had no problem with that. Other people that did not removed AI are already confirming what I now are noticing now. With 7840 this seems like the normal (wrong) behavior. There will be an other update coming from MS to fix this.... Again fixing things. Since the release of 25H2 they are fixing things all the time.

How about the number of packages left; 1742, 7705 and 7840 besides each other? Has that been reduced as well? Before: 253 packages. After? Wow. It even corrected that number to 175 as I would expected. Adding those AI things back again made Windows to delete those former leftovers of 7705 also. No trace of leftovers anymore....

Result:

Item: 1742 075 x
Item: 26100.1 017 x
Item: 9319 001 x
Item: 9325 001 x
Item: 5503 001 x
Item: 6717 001 x
Item: 7824 072 x
Item: 7839 001 x
Item: 7840 006 x
-------------------------
#Items total : 175
WinPack Count : 175
Number of Packages are equal.

Conclusion: Use that RemoveWindowsAI-main github script accepting the risk that it will interfere with future updates!!!! Windows has a serious problem if those AI things are removed. My kudos goes out to the makers of DISM. It seems to do a beter job than I thought. There is now no need to restore a backup I made with 7705 before I used this remove all AI script. On the other side. Not happy with those AI stuff again. But it is what it is for the mean time. We'll have to wait for a better solution of removing all AI. They must device a trick to let Windows know it did not remove all AI at all. The 7840 update noticed it now and did strange things in order to battle against this with unwanted consequences.... To bad....

If you're so against MS and Windows switch to Linux or go out and buy a Mac.
If anybody sees this post and finds it tldr? Just skip reading this post and move allong! Curious what my opinion would be? Read on. Your free choice.....

So what you are saying to me is don't show my opinion on the matter here... That looks and smell as someone is telling me to censor my opinion! Who are you then? Gates? Trump? How about freedom of speech? Gone? Don't think so. And the funny thing is; you are drawing the wrong conclusion in this all. I am absolutely not against MS. I have only mixed feelings about there methods of handeling things. This multimillion and mighty corporation as MS is must know beter then use us as guineapigs. They should know beter. Why don't they the take their time and use their Canary channel for that purpose! That is where is that damn channel intended for in the first place!

Who was really ranting? I would say Bill Gates himself when he heard that their salesfigures fell behind what they predicted. He was ranting against users stepping over to Linux because users are fed up with all those AI spying and mistake after mistake with their 25H2 updates in order to sell our data to third party's in order to make Mo Money. Well mister Gates.. Any idea for the reason why? I know why. He let us believe that there is nothing wrong with MS. Their continues forcing upon us all to dance to their music is getting old.

Just for a fun fact. Someone (can't tell what his background is.. A former disappointed developer laid off? Someone that what's to spread fake news? Whatever it might be. You can't say and claim this without some inside information....) took the time to count the bugs that MS are solving. With 24H2 it was somewhere arround 13.000. Yes also big company's make mistakes. I give them that. Their task to keeping in account all the different machines we all have arround the world is impossible to test this on all their own machines. I forgive them for that. But with 25H2 they went off the rails with that; 143.000!!!! and we are not even at the EOL point..... Looking at 25H2 track record... I believe this guy! Even the experts in the industry agree with me; 25H2 is the worst version since Vista. Don take my word for it! Check it for yourself! Do they also hate MS? Of course not! Windows is a very nice product. I also agree. But the way that took MS lately is the wrong way.

They see people that are stepping over to Linux as traitors. While MS is responsible for this all. Keeping this up the way it's going now? More and more users are looking at Linux as a replacement. I can see what all those guys are doing. It's like Linux-mania broke out there now! The number of company's that produce a Windows look-a-like distribution goes through the roof. They see MS failing and they smell blood and the rewards is high. They want also a piece of the MS pie! Slowly and constantly the are creeping towards Windows; Windows not based on MS OS, but on Linux OS. I have tested so many distribution by now. My conclusion is just: Not good enough to be a real contender....

[Personal note] (Just move along....)
In the past big company's used MS products for their servers. Were long gone past the virtualization front. What do I see running in some 80% of all servers? Not Windows! But Linux! I am a rather a very good Oracle DBA by trade. I go with the the flow continuedly adapting myself towards the current trend. In my job as an IT professional you need to be If want to work in this complex IT industry. I am not walking arround as someone that has eye protectors like horses do. Problems and incidents can be very complex to solve. I must take in consideration every aspect inside the whole chain from database to application servers, network, firewalls, DMZ etc. until the end-user how is complaining. So I look over each wall we have build in our industry. I have a task to do! Solving the issue. Is it the database? (If there is problem? They always shout Database!!! That black box is for a user something mysterious. It presses on enter by querying a complex statement and tada.... The list with answers within nanoseconds.... ) Not the Database? I goto any one who are sitting in the chain one by one. Yes I have build a reputation by now. If they see me coming they think "there comes that guy again with some real hard questions for us." I see them. Never mind that I have just one thing on my mind. There is a problem that needs to be solve very quickly. If I can find the culprit then we are talking among ourselves to find a solution. Will help anybody no matter what! Skilled or not. When it's all done? I never point fingers at anyone personally. I just say I solved the issue and this is what caused it. Period. Case closed.

We all make mistakes, hell even I make mistakes! If a manager asks who was responsible for it and I caused it? I immediately stand up with "Me!" He will lash out to me. (I can take it. It's only some tough couple of minutes of bare humiliation!) He can ask anything from me; and I am telling just the plain truth. His dislike me at that moment but when he calms down; he admires my honesty. It take guts to admit your own mistakes. This is how you earn respect from others. Admitting your mistakes is just what keep us all on our toes! You may hide the truth. But I learned the hard way; If they catch you on not being honest? There is hell to pay.... I know my stuff! I have seen SLA managers who have been called every ten minutes by their clients. They are getting tired to response telling the customer each time "It's not solved yet, you have to be patient. I will call you when it's done!" Ha. Some customers are inpatient and call again every ten minutes. The unexperienced manager that doesn't know me is walking with a very fast passe towards me with the question "when is it resolved?" I know already what he wanted to ask me when I saw him coming..... Then at this moment the headmaster that lay dormant for 98% of the time sticks his head up. (I am a cheeky illegitimate sometimes. Mister: I know it all) "As I already told you earlier is will visit you to let you personally know the the problem is resolved. I am working as hard as I possible can to solve this case. I need my head to focus on the things that really matter. What you are now doing is distracting me from my job. Your not helping! Go back to your office right now! I will inform you personally when it's done as I promised you already twice by now... Turn back and just go! Pronto!" I have a different work ethos. Hierarchy? It's there but I am not shuting up to a guy that if above me in the chain. I respect people who can look though me and see me as I really am. Other experts in other branches are doing the same thing as I do. I respect someone which has a bigger knowledge then me. I also don't look down with disrespect on others below me. I threat everybody with the same respect whoever you are. This manager confrontation is not a nice thing to do at that moment but I am real honest here. If you want problems solved quickly then don't distract me with these silly questions. They always turns back again like a little schoolboy! I have met managers who started to complain about my behavior against them. But my managers are the ones that really knows me deep down already. Like me he too turns those guys back again like a little schoolboy. For every manager I have seen during my time; did not dare to make that same mistake again.

I am telling you all how to handle in stress situations. I am at a point that I even handle en divert stressful situations. Everybody can handle also stressful situations also! Just like me! I am nothing more special the the next guy! Manage stress simply by treating stress as a problem you must to solve first! Don't let stress take over you. It's a challenge! If unmanaged? Burn-out. It's out there for everybody to see. Take action against it. Protect yourselves! Everybody can do this I am sure of that! It's becoming a thread in the rat-race we are all facing now. Survival!

OK time to shut-up again. I know..... This is the last time I spent so much words on the subjects I promise. So Brain48! If I start again, just point it out to me like "Remember you promised!..." I will delete my post and think again before I react again in a shorter way....

For the gamers under us; Bazznite looks to be a winner at the moment. It's totally focused on Steam. No illegal games wanted! Funny. Their distributions runs faster on that distribution then Windows with all their bloatware and AI spying stuff. MS must shape up and listen to the their users! If they don't? There is the exit. Plain and simple. MS must return to it's original mission; that why we buy Windows for. Run programs as fast as possible. Not clogging all our systems down with Bloatware and AI spying and making many update mistakes.

I don't know if you have noticed this: MS changed their tactics to earn money. In the early days they earn money by selling their Windows products. Now? They switched. You can download Windows for free now from their site, go to a site and buy an official MS key for a few bucks. When Win10 came out some years back I've bought their official Windows 10 Pro OEM edition with a official MS key for some $178. Now? I am still hitchhiking on the same Windows 10 to Windows 11 with the same key. How does earn MS his money now under these condition? Yes you guess it already: AI that is spying on us all and sending information to MS. They are gathering all this information and sell it as a package to third party's without our consent!..... How is this for starters..... No wonder people are trying to get rid off all that AI stuff like I did. I my case I have got an unwanted blowback after 7840. I learned one thing by now. There is a solution that is clearly as day to me. Fool the update in such a way that it thinks that AI is still there and turned on.... I can't do this myself. I have a lot off programming skills but this taks is to complicated for me. I leave that to the clever developers out there that are way better than me to find a work arround.... As off now; Don't use this RemoveWindowsAI-main product. It messes things up during updates. I am just fortunate that I am cleaver and skilled enough (with some deeper knowledge of the deeper working of Windows) to turn things arround and solve the issue in theory. Doing it was a challenge! And surprise surprise. My predication became reality. I am not waiting for applause here. I keep this thing for myself. I am not waiting for any kudos at all. That's really not very interesting. What I really doing here mainly is helping people with their problems and issue if I can. If not? I don't help because I lack the insight to solve that particular issue. What I am also doing here is sharing information with the general people. I fell into one trap and came out again. No need for other users to fall in the same trap. I am learning each day. That's why I am here also. Other people have already fallen into their trap and got out again also. I will after given their solution not fall in the same trap.... I am not a mighty expert as people might think of me. Even experts learn also each day....

I am not a Fanboy of any side. Both Windows and Linux! I have my own independent opinion based on real hard cold facts. If you don't agree? You may? But don't tell me to shut up then without any hard and cold reason why.

As clearly the Windows fanboy you might be; Did you wanted all that AI rubbish that nobody wanted that MS is forcing upon us all? I don't think so! Do you like the update repeated mistakes they are making? I don't think so!.

I can predict the nearby future also. With 7840 they introduced (seen the now somewhat scares evidence) That sudden bailing out by 70% of DISM. Did you checked this by yourself? I don't think so! I bet the next update will fix this issue. MS is like a long player record that is set on infinite repeat. Repeating themself mistake after mistake. And nobody has a opinion about this all? Don't make me laugh..... I am not the only one that is "ranting" My opinion is shared with the experts in the industry also.

And for the people that want to respond? Don't press on the Quote button!!!

[Personal note]

Hierarchy?
