Keeps going to sleep

Does anyone else have this problem? My new Win 11 computer constantly puts itself to sleep unless I leave the desktop backlight on all the time. I have already gone into “settings” and told it “never” to sleep, both on battery or while plugged in. The only way I can get it to run all the time is if I also set the backlight to always stay on. Any other backlight and it puts itself in sleep mode after ten or fifteen minutes.

I want it to always stay on because I run distributed computing project such as Milkyway@home and LHC@home in the background.

In addition to the above, you may need to try a completely different power plan. Going to sleep can apply to devices, the display, or the entire system, and preventing the system from sleeping may not stop the display from going into standby, or the storage drives from powering down into a standby state as well.

But knowing your computer's specs will definitely help with targeted advice. Please, though, do not post any serial numbers, Service tags, or email addresses. This is for your own protection.
