Hi

I have a Windows 11 laptop that I use for gaming quite a bit and because of this my W key is wearing out. Alot of times it takes pushing it multiple times for the W to print out on the screen.

So have been considering buying a USB keyboard to use instead just over laying it on the laptops own keyboard and such but doing that might get errors when printing as the new keyboard might press the keys on the original keyboard.

So I was wondering is it possible to disable the original keyboard on a laptop without causing issues that way when I use the new keyboard it won't be also typing out on the original keyboard?

Thanks
Dave

Yeah unfortunately for me the article didn't help as the easy option isn't available to me that being Device Manager and Disable. I don't have a disable option on mine in this way and the other other option they offer is uninstall but that only works until you restart the computer again then you have to uninstall it again. Which I guess would work but even the article said can be a pain to have to do it every time.
