I haven't posted any profile detail yet because i am having problems with a new laptop, amd am looking for help.
My daughter has just bought a new HP laptop, with Win 11 home preinstalled. I have set it up, and it is (was) running perfectly.
I have installed Paragon HDM 17 and made a backup of the system to a USB external drive. So far all okay.
I have this on my system, and have made recovery medium on a USB stick and tried it all on my laptop to prove it is all okay.
I then tried it ao my daughters laptop and it froze on the loading page.
I now have a laptop that is stuck on the loading page and have no means of turning the machine off. There is no cursor to switch it off. pressing the start button does not turn it off.
Please tell me how i can cloe the machine down.
