An early good morning Scannerman. To bad Old Mike isn't posting often, very big into overclocking. Read your comment on OneDrive. Never heard it take control of boot. That should be an interesting one to debug. I'm expecting a call from a client today, their ISP is in modernizing their TV / Internet offering. I had suggested they ask the tech to use the old wifi name and password so al the existing devices reconnect. I wonder if they will be brave enough to ask. The ISP is Rogers, sometimes you get a good tech and other times you get the "I'm not paid to do that tech"

i dont know.. I just know i am at my peak at late evening and night.. so i have always made sure i had jobs where i could work night. :-)

You're the smart one. All my life I've tried to fight what I thought was insomnia but it can't really be insomnia if I can sleep just fine in the afternoons.

I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.

That is why i had the thoughts of moving to US for a year or two, just to see if it is the darkness my body likes so i would become a night person there too, or if i would keep the internal clock and become a day person in the US :-)

Yeah, I miss that guy. Always enjoyed Mike's posts. The reason I suspect One Drive might be the culprit is because the user has an old 2TB spinner connected to it that has a defective OS installed. Windows normally defaults to the most recent drive with the OS but in this case it keeps defaulting to the old. Even a disconnect and reconnect doesn't help. Changing boot order only works once and then defaults back on restart. That old OS needs to be wiped. The user told me he would do it but evidently not soon enough.
