    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

Well I was in bed by 1 and up by 10 and didn't wake in the middle of the night. Not sure how long it took to get off to sleep, or how long in the morning I spent thinking about getting up - let's call it 8 hours actual sleep....

You all know my situation with my Wife, taking care of her after her 2 strokes & the ongoing problems she's having & myself with the nerve damage due to the radiation for cancer. So I have a lot on my plate & I don't get much time in the mornings. Also my ADHD doesn't help much.

I thought there was a rule against harassing other members but apparently he can get away with it. He also suggested all I was good for was the daily desktop I post & that I should learn how to use the search.

Anyway, the nurse was here this morning, changed the dressing on her wounds & she says they look good.

I agree i like the win10 forum engine better.:-) (y) But the activity in there just became to low to stay there. And as I'm on so many forums, i kind of have to be active in one of every category.. Windows, Linux, Pentesting/security, OSINT, Network/enterprise, Privacy, Cars, Prepping, Crafts.... so just one of each still become 9 platforms.. if i would be active on two of everyone that is 18.. and three.. 27... You see the problem.*lol* 😅

John is currently testing a migration to the XenForo engine for Seven Forums. (Vista and Eight Forums made the switch a long time ago). If successful Ten Forums would be his last remaining site still using VBulletin - for how much longer, who can tell?

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

I dont have the password for sevenforums on this computer.. so i cant see the VIP section... and i dont even know if i have the VIP badge on 7F
So if he converting 10F to this engine.. then i moved just in time then. *LOL*

Ten will be staying on vBulletin for the foreseeable future—switching platforms tends to lose traffic, so I’ll only consider it if it’s absolutely necessary or there’s no traffic left to lose.
