Today my VW Polo is at my local garage being fixed. For the past few days three warning lights have been coming on simultaneously, the ABS, ESP, and tyre pressure warnings. None of these are essentials, so I could continue driving as normal.
All 3 systems rely on the wheel rotation sensors. Apparently the rear nearside one had failed. Should be ready to pick up later this afternoon.
The joys of having a modern car stuffed full of electronics!
Yeah... modern cars...
.... I think i would do as i do with windows if i was forced to get a modern car.... rip out half of the non-essential electronic.
