I miss riding around in my Dad's 1956 Mercury Monarch. Power seats, power windows, power roof, convertible. It was sky blue in colour and powered by a beast of a V8 engine. I remember going through the Rocky Mountains with the top down and biting into a fresh BC apple that just foamed with cider. It was soo sweet and delicious. Tree ripe fruit tastes nothing like what you get in the grocery stores. Good memories from 1966.
