    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to lid hinges starting to break up this laptop has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.

    Info for 2021-2026:
    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

Some do have nice colours, but most are only turning partly. Maybe because it's been dry for a while, think the rain is what accelerates the turning/falling.

Yeah, the city said next week it's doing the annual leaf pickup, but most of the leaves are still up in the trees & most of them are still green. :rolleyes:

Maybe the rain will help speed things along. I heard that the wet rainy conditions makes them fall faster.

Yeah, we get the occasional deer, along with wild turkeys & an assortment of other critters during the day/night. Came out one morn & one deer was on the back porch, stood there, looked at me, I froze, then it casually walked off.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to lid hinges starting to break up this laptop has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.

    Info for 2021-2026:
    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    My SYSTEM SIX is a Dell Latitude 5550, Core Ultra 7 165H, 64GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, supported device, Windows 11 Pro, Hyper-V host machine. Updated to 25H2 on 30th September 2025, 26H2 on 29th September 2026.

...on an unsupported device too, did I mention that? My System Two was my only device with V-box installed, my best machines already had Hyper-V, so I had to choose that one. It runs a lot better now that it has 8GB ;)

okay.. I will never touch Home or even Pro.. when i finally finish my win11 LTSC project/thread i will probibly only run it for my win-only software.. So its highly unlikely i will run VM's on a windows host.
To shut up win10 LTSC IoT i had to really cripple the system.. The system can't even detect if internet is connected or not any longer.. so that is like being back in windows 98/2000/xp when the only hint you was online was if the browser open the page or not. *LOL* 😅
So me and windows is not friends on that level I'm ready to use it as a daily driver. :cool:

I had a feeling it was unsupported hardware :-) as it was 4GB ram only ;-)
But unsupported hardware is easy... 4GB ram for Host + v-box + w11guest that is harder then bypass hardware requirements :-)
You had to have almost 100% ram usage and a really active swap?
